      Pull on jeans are increasingly hard to find. These are made of what I call "fake denim" (very light- weight fabric). They fit rather well after a number of washings.
      At age 86, I am not ready to give up my elastic waist jeans and these, though they leave a lot to be desired, are the closest thing I have found to the Real Thing. I have bought four pairs.

      As is my habit with your denim pants, I soaked them for several days to get the excess dye out, then washed them as I do all the others I have. Then, time to shorten them with all the sewing/measuring/cutting/machine work involved.

      All with Christmas madness!

      So, today I finally got to the ironing stage (yes I iron my jeans) and found the photo- ed flaw.

      Sure, I can patch it from the inside with StitchWitchery using some of the fabric from shortening the pants, but I think the pant would be uncomfortable and the patched pieces would scratch my inner leg.

      The second pair I bought is as expected.

      I am disappointed and don't know what can be done now that I've done alterations and laundering. It took ironing the jeans to reveal the flaw on the inner leg.
